Martin Odegaard’s enjoyable taking photos at the top of Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Liverpool at the Emirates sparked the ire of Jamie Carragher – and began a social media whirlwind.
Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard all bought on the scoresheet for the Gunners as they closed the hole on Liverpool and Man City at the highest of the Premier League desk.
Arsenal captain Odegaard proceeded to have some enjoyable with the membership photographer at the top of the sport, taking photos of him celebrating after the ultimate whistle, however it didn’t impress Carragher, who was working as a pundit for Sky Sports.
As the footage was proven, former Arsenal participant Gael Clichy revealed ‘I bear in mind being taken photos, however not taking photos. It’s an excellent evening.’

Later on Sunday night, the ex-Liverpool ace posted the video of the incident on his X (previously Twitter) web page, with the caption: ‘By all means take pleasure in it, however take pleasure in it by being disciplined!’
Piers Morgan also shared the video with a laughing with tears emoji, writing: ‘Calm down, relax, @Carra23 – we battered you, and we’re going to take pleasure in each second.’
Carragher replied in jest: ‘I practically walked out the studio!’
Morgan responded with a quartet of laughing crying emojis, including: ‘your ache solely provides to the enjoyment.’
The former Liverpool defender then posted the phrase ‘#NewProfilePic’, and altered it to the image of Odegaard holding the digicam after the 3-1 win.
Saka put the hosts in entrance inside the opening 15 minutes at the Emirates, however Liverpool have been lucky to equalise before half-time courtesy of a Gabriel personal purpose.
A communication error in Liverpool’s defence allowed Gabriel Martinelli to get Arsenal again in entrance within the 67th minute, before Trossard sealed the victory in stoppage time with a sensible end.
