Six folks have been injured after a window and chunk of fuselage blew out of an Alaska Airlines passenger aircraft at first of the month.
A former US congressman – who led an in depth investigation into earlier points with Boeing planes – has accused the corporate of relying on “crappy stuff” from its subcontractor after the 737 MAX 9 mid-air blowout.
Peter DeFazio, who chaired the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee till 2022, mentioned the main focus wants to show to Spirit AeroSystems, which constructed the door plug that blew out of the Alaska Airlines aircraft after it took off on 5 January.
Mr DeFazio mentioned on Tuesday that Boeing has been “happy with the crappy stuff from Spirit because it’s cheap”.
