Boris Johnson has been lambasted for his assault on Reform UK chief Nigel Farage, as the former Prime Minister delivered his scathing verdict of the Conservatives’s General Election defeat.

Writing in his Daily Mail column, the ex-Tory chief branded Farage the “cheroot-puffing Pied Piper of Clacton” and claimed he performed a “significant part” in the “destruction” of the Conservative celebration.
