Air passengers at Bristol Airport have been forced to wait nearly two hours to gather their bags.

It comes amid an exceptionally busy month for the airport, with plenty of events the place travellers have been forced to queue outside the constructing simply to check-in.

Several posts on social media say folks have had to wait an hour or longer to get their instances off the carousel this morning at round 2am. (May 15., 2022).

Bristol Live was additionally emailed by a lady who mentioned she had to wait three hours for her bags with children. She mentioned: “Tui customers waiting over three hours for luggage. Jet2 customers waiting over two and a half hours for luggage. easyJet customers waiting over 40 minutes.”

A Bristol Airport spokesperson mentioned: “Baggage delays have been skilled final night time to some flights arriving into Bristol Airport within the early hours of Sunday 15 May. Bristol Airport apologises and appreciates the frustration clients skilled due to the delay within the arrival of their bags.
