Ben Chilwell has agreed to lengthen his contract with Chelsea Football Club by an extra two years.
The new deal, which is able to preserve the 26-year-old at Stamford Bridge till at the least the summer time of 2027, was finalised in the present day with Chilwell having this to say:
‘I feel very settled at Chelsea and have really enjoyed my time on the pitch here so I’m very happy the membership need me to be a part of the mission long-term, and am very glad to signal this extension to my contract.
‘We are working hard for success and I will do my best to bring more smiles to the faces of the fans who have made me feel so welcome.’
The left-back or left wing-back was a member of Chelsea’s 2021 Champions League-winning aspect and has since overcome a critical knee harm to re-establish himself as a key squad member for each membership and nation.
Having signed for Chelsea in 2020 when our present caretaker supervisor Frank Lampard was head coach, Chilwell has made 80 appearances for the Blues and scored 9 targets, together with his most up-to-date strike approaching a return to his former membership Leicester City final month.
