An easyJet flight from Glasgow declared a mid-air emergency following a generator failure final evening.
The plane, which was travelling to Luton, was compelled to divert to Manchester after the technical failure was found.
The easyJet U2612 flight departed Glasgow Airport shortly after 5.30pm on Friday night, however squawked and emergency at round 6pm, studies Glasgow Live.
The airplane diverted to Manchester and landed at 6.45pm. The airling confirmed the airplane was inspected by engineers and dominated to be secure earlier than flying to its ultimate vacation spot at London Luton.
An easyJet spokesperson stated: “easyJet can verify that the flight EZY612 from Glasgow – London Luton on May 19 diverted to Manchester attributable to a technical challenge with the plane. After the plane was declared serviceable by our engineers the flight proceed onto its ultimate vacation spot.
“The safety of our customers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority and easyJet operates its fleet of aircraft in strict compliance with all manufacturers’ guidelines. We would like to apologise to customers for the delay and inconvenience caused.”
