GB News’ Digital Finance Editor Jessica Sheldon has revealed that Royal Mail has admitted branding a genuine stamp as “counterfeit”, as our unique investigation into the postal service continues.
Jessica instructed GB News host Martin Daubney: “We’ve had a very fascinating growth this week with a woman who has discovered that the stamp that she despatched was genuine, however Royal Mail has admitted that they referred to as it counterfeit regardless of it being genuine.
“They have issued an apology – she wrote to her MP who bought in contact they usually checked over the stamp. They mentioned that Royal Mail had due to this fact been mistaken to use the surcharge, and they’re very sorry that their actions have failed her on this event.
“So it’s a big development that Royal Mail said they’re not taking lightly.”
