Jeremy Corbyn threatens to sue Nigel Farage over ‘highly defamatory statement’

Jeremy Corbyn has threatened to take authorized motion in opposition to Nigel Farage over a “highly defamatory statement”.
The former Labour chief, who now sits as an impartial MP, stated he couldn’t let “disgusting and malicious lies go unchallenged”.
A press release from Mr Corbyn’s workforce alleged that the previous Brexit Party chief had “accused Jeremy Corbyn of subscribing to an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory”.
In a publish on X, previously Twitter, the MP stated: “I’ve requested my attorneys to take the primary steps in commencing authorized proceedings in opposition to Nigel Farage, following a extremely defamatory assertion about me.
“We are a motion for peace – and we can’t stand by and let these disgusting and malicious lies go unchallenged.”

Mr Farage declined to remark.
