The Governor-Elect of Kano State, Abba Kabir, didn’t attend nor ship representatives to the official handover ceremony organised by the outgoing governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Sunday.
Mr Ganduje determined to handover to the brand new governor on Sunday as an alternative of Monday, 29 May, the official handover date in order that he can attend the inauguration of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, in Abuja on Monday morning, the state’s Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Muhammad Garba, mentioned on Sunday.
