Last-minute warning for millions as Google plans to shut down popular app forever TOMORROW

A GOOGLE app utilized by millions is to disappear from gadgets forever tomorrow, regardless of calls to halt the shut-down.

Users have been warned of the closure months prematurely, with the US model of the app vanishing at first of April.

The last dying knell for the Google Podcasts app, which launched in 2018, is due to ring tomorrow, 24 June.

In September final 12 months, the tech big introduced it will be retiring Google Podcasts in favour of YouTube Music someday in 2024.
