Leeds United hiring Ed Wootten from Norwich City as new goalkeeping coach

Leeds United are hiring Ed Wootten as their new goalkeeping coach following Daniel Farke’s arrival as supervisor.

United unveiled Farke on a four-year contract final week after an in depth recruitment course of following their relegation from the Premier League.

The Athletic reported on Wednesday that incumbent Marcos Abad can be leaving Elland Road after six years in put up.

Wootten, who labored with Farke at Norwich City, is about to interchange him having been at Carrow Road since 2015. Paul Clements will step in for him at Norwich.

Farke has introduced three different members of employees with him — Eddie Riemer, Christopher John and Chris Domogalla.

All have labored with him in earlier jobs, together with at Norwich the place Farke gained promotion from the Championship twice.

Farke has already begun working at Thorp Arch with the membership’s pre-season set to start on Wednesday towards Manchester United in Oslo.
