Craig Marshall was standing at his balcony door filming the thunderstorm going on over his resort when the lightning struck his balcony.

“It was mental, luckily I wasn’t looking straight at it, or I would be on the cataracts list.”
His household have been fast to react, providing their assist after being startled by the occasion.
But the daddy of two has learnt his lesson from the occasion and stayed up till the early hours that night time researching the realities of lightning strikes.
“It was good to overcome the myths such as lightning only hitting the tallest thing in the room.”
The mechanical engineer was staying 500 yards away from the ocean as a serious storm rolled in, exacerbated by a protracted interval of maximum warmth.
