Man dies after he ‘set himself on fire’ outside McDonald’s
A person has died after he “set himself on fire” at McDonald’s.
Merseyside police and hearth crews had been known as to Queens Drive, in Walton, after studies for the priority for the security of a person at round 5.50am on Thursday, October 26. At the scene they discovered a person, aged 49, wanted pressing medical consideration for critical burns.
He was taken to hospital in a vital situation. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police has now confirmed the person died in the present day, Friday, October 27. The loss of life will not be being handled as suspicious and subsequent of kin have been knowledgeable. A file has been handed to the coroner.

A spokesperson for McDonald’s informed the ECHO on the time: “We can confirm that an incident occurred earlier this morning at our Queen’s Drive restaurant. We are offering support to our restaurant team, and will assist the police in their enquiries.” The venue has since reopened.
In an announcement, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police mentioned: “We can sadly verify {that a} man has died following an incident on Queens Drive, in Walton, yesterday, Thursday, October 26. At round 5.50am it was reported {that a} 49-year-old man wanted pressing medical consideration after sustaining burns accidents.
“He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and has today, Friday, October 27, sadly passed away. The death is not being treated as suspicious and next of kin have been informed. A file has been passed to the coroner.”
