Mishal Husain swears 7 times (while challenging Cleverly’s swearing)

Refraining from unhealthy language doesn’t seem to have been amongst Mishal Husain’s new yr’s resolutions.

The presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Today programme mentioned the phrase “shit” seven times in lower than a minute throughout an interview with James Cleverly, the house secretary, on Tuesday morning.

Husain, 50, was asking Cleverly about his personal use of expletives. “There have been a number of times when things that you have said have got you into trouble,” she mentioned. “There was the time it was reported that you called a government policy batshit. There was the person or place you referred to in parliament as a shithole.”

Cleverly, 54, has denied that he used such language to explain the federal government’s resolution to ship migrants to Rwanda.
