The group of campaigners sat contained in the Morrisons on St James’ Street in Kemptown and held satirical newspaper headlines studying “nation of animal lovers eat baby sheep in odd annual eEaster ritual”.
The protest, organised by members of Animal Rebellion, lasted for round an hour on Good Friday with consumers having to work across the group to seek out their Easter Sunday roasts.
Richard Michalec, 40, a Brighton-based college lecturer concerned within the protest, mentioned: “Easter is a celebration of affection and life, and this Easter we’re asking this nation of animal lovers to completely embrace these values by supporting a Plant-Based Future.
“Unfortunately, we at present reside in contradiction of those values by consuming animals, particularly at Easter once we have fun by consuming lambs – child animals that we frequently take our children to go to earlier than returning dwelling to serve them up on our plates.

The Brighton protest was a part of a co-ordinated set of demonstrations throughout the UK together with in London, Southampton and Newcastle.
Animal Rebellion say they are going to be altering their techniques after this week of motion with plans to disrupt the Grand National horse racing.
The group is looking on the general public and authorities to assist farmers to transition to plant-based meals techniques in an effort to liberate land at present used for meals manufacturing.
