West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka has appealed to his predecessor Vincent Kemosi to reconsider the choice to decline his nomination as Kenya’s ambassador to Ghana.
On Tuesday, Kemosi through a letter to the National Assembly’s Foreign Relations and Intelligence Committee, defined that he would not settle for the nomination due to private and household causes.
However, his Member of Parliament urged Kemosi to reconsider and settle for President William Ruto’s nomination.
“I do enchantment that the nominee for the excessive fee to Ghana reconsiders the choice he made and rapidly recants and revokes the letter that was tendered to Parliament and he rapidly submits himself to vetting in order that the appointment course of is concluded,’’ Mogaka mentioned.
The MP mentioned that Kemosi’s determination to decline the job would damage his constituents who had been banking on the appointment to reap the numerous trickle-down advantages that may include the nomination.

In his letter to Parliament, Kemosi mentioned his determination was knowledgeable by compelling private and household issues.
