Plane Grounded In France With Several Indians Land In Mumbai: News Agency PTI

A constitution airplane carrying 276 passengers, principally Indians, which was grounded in France for 4 days over suspected human trafficking, landed in Mumbai on Tuesday, an official stated.

The Nicaragua-bound flight operated by a Romanian firm was detained for 4 days at Vatry airport close to France.

The plane, an Airbus A340, landed in Mumbai shortly after 4 am, the official stated. It had taken off from Vatry airport round 2.30 pm native time.

The constitution flight that carried 303 passengers had taken off from Dubai within the United Arab Emirates and was grounded on the Vatry airport, 150 km east of Paris, on Thursday over suspected human trafficking.

According to French authorities, the airplane had 276 passengers on board when it took off for Mumbai, and 25 individuals, together with two minors, had expressed the want to apply for asylum and had been nonetheless on French soil.

Two others, who had been introduced earlier than a decide, had been launched and positioned on assisted witness standing, a French information channel stated.
