Police confirm no gun found after being called to Aintree hospital car park
Police have been called to Aintree hospital after experiences of a handgun being noticed – however found no hint of a weapon.
Quite a few social media customers shared experiences armed police had been seen on the hospital, and Merseyside Police this night confirmed they’d been called. Just after 7pm, officers obtained a report two youngsters driving a motorbike had been seen with a handgun within the hospital’s multi-storey car park.
A spokesman for the pressure instructed the ECHO: “The car park was cleared and searched by armed officers who found no proof of a firearm within the space.

“The car park has now been reopened by our officers. Thank you (to the public) for your patience whilst we investigated this incident.”
Merseyside Police confirmed armed police have been in attendance, however that the incident was resolved.
