The Labour Tottenham MP was giving a speech to stipulate its overseas coverage commitments in central London when no less than 4 protesters interrupted him.
Pro-Palestinian protesters interrupted a speech by shadow overseas secretary David Lammy, with cries of “will you condemn the genocide” and “how many more children need to die”.
The Labour Tottenham MP was giving a speech to the Fabian Society on Saturday to stipulate the social gathering’s overseas coverage if it wins the subsequent common election.
But he was interrupted by an activist draped in a Palestinian flag, who stormed the stage and shouted criticism of Labour’s coverage on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Once the protester was ushered out of the Guildhall in central London, a second particular person stood up and shouted: “Call yourself a socialist?”
Mr Lammy laughed, and replied: “I was born in Tottenham, don’t worry… we all want to see a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza.”
At least two extra protesters interrupted his speech, with additional outbursts of “you should be ashamed of yourself” and “blood on your hands”.

Mr Lammy replied every time with the phrase: “Change through power not process.”
Labour chief Sir Keir Starmer confronted criticism in the beginning of the conflict for saying “Israel has the right to defend itself”, and not using a related assertion in assist of the folks of Gaza.
He has since hardened his place, notably on the subject of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who this week urged he not helps a two-state answer when the present battle ends.
