Three men have been arrested after a disturbance pressured a flight to return to Edinburgh.
Officers have been referred to as to Edinburgh Airport on the afternoon of Friday, July 5, after being made conscious of an incident on board a not too long ago departed Ryanair flight for Lanzarote.
Three men, aged 22, 22, and 21, have been arrested in reference to the disturbance.
Two of the men, a 22-year-old and 21-year-old, have been charged with quite a few offences.
The different man was launched with out cost.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “We have been made conscious of a disturbance on board a flight which had departed from Edinburgh Airport throughout the afternoon of Friday, 5 July.
“The plane returned to Edinburgh and three men, 22, 22 and 21, have been arrested.
“One of the 22-year-olds and the 21-year-old have been charged with quite a few offences and shall be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
“The different 22-year-old was launched with out cost.”
A Ryanair spokesperson stated: “This flight from Edinburgh to Lanzarote (5 July) returned to Edinburgh shortly after take-off as 3 passengers turned disruptive inflight.
“Crew referred to as forward for police help, who met the plane upon return to Edinburgh Airport and eliminated these disruptive passengers, earlier than the flight continued to Lanzarote.
“We sincerely apologise to passengers for any inconvenience precipitated because of these disruptive passengers.”
