Tory MP Mike Freer to quit frontline politics after death threats

A Tory minister has introduced he’ll step again from frontline politics on the subsequent election over death threats and intimidation due to his pro-Israel views.

Justice Minister Mike Freer stated he was “lucky to be alive” after narrowly escaping a gathering in 2021 with Ali Harbi Ali, who later murdered fellow MP Sir David Amess.
