Universal Studios has confirmed plans for its first theme park in the UK.
The studios stated it was “exploring” opening a theme park in the UK after buying 480 acres of land.
The park, which might be Universal’s first in Europe, is tipped to be opened in Bedford, with land having been bought at Kempston Hardwick.
The location is known to have been chosen attributable to its shut proximity to London, with it taking solely 45 minutes on the practice, and it being a brief driving distance from Luton Airport.

It comes after a Universal Studios Great Britain web site was registered by guardian firm NBC Universal.
