Virgin Atlantic flight #VS77 from Manchester to Bridgetown is declaring an emergency.

A Virgin Atlantic A330-300 is declaring an emergency after takeoff from Manchester.

The plane took off from Manchester at 13:00 GMT.

The flight is operated by an Airbus A330-300 (reg. G-VKSS) which is 13 years outdated.

Pilots squawked 7700 (common emergency) solely 20 minutes after takeoff.
