Charles Barkley Changes Will After Supreme Court’s Affirmative Action Ruling

The Supreme Court’s dismantling of affirmative motion has prompted Charles Barkley to vary his will to demand that the $5 million he’s leaving to his alma mater, Auburn University, shall be earmarked for Black college students. “That’s just my way of trying to make sure Auburn stays diverse,” the NBA Hall of Famer mentioned on Friday, in response to AL.com. “After that ruling yesterday, my phone was blowing up. I was talking to my friends and said, ‘I need to make sure Black folks always have a place at Auburn.’” Only 5 % of scholars at Auburn are Black, in comparison with 27 % of Alabama.
