Shocked passengers on a rail alternative coach had been left covered in debris when the bus smashed right into a low bridge in the West Midlands.
Around 25 folks had been on the bus travelling from Telford to Wolverhampton when it hit the bridge in the village of Albrighton in Shropshire on Saturday night time.
The bus was working after a landslip on the railway line between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton.
Passenger Kathleen Riot informed The Independent: “We had been leaving Albrighton station when the bus went beneath a low bridge and took off the air-con unit and solar roofs on high.
“On one aspect of the bus, passengers had been covered in rubble and water as elements of the unit got here down. People had been fairly shocked however fortunately no-one was damage. It may have been a lot worse.”

Pictures taken by Ms Riot confirmed firefighters on the scene of the crash at round 7pm. A brand new bus was scheduled to take passengers on, however for Ms Riot, who had been heading to Wolverhampton to observe bands at a pub, she headed again to Telford.
She added: “It’s not the driver’s fault, but these buses are sent out for rail replacements in areas which they don’t know and when it’s dark. So it’s not surprising something like this happened.”
The landslip was brought about when round 5,000 tonnes of fabric slipped beneath a 50-metre part of the railway after heavy rainfall, stated Network Rail.
The bus crash was confirmed by West Midlands Railway, which operates the road, to the BBC.
